This Sierra Elevation is powered by GMC's TurboMax turbocharged four-cylinder, rated at 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. It is paired with an electronically controlled 8-speed automatic transmission with a column shifter. Four-wheel drive runs through a single-speed electronic Autotrac transfer case with push-button control, along with an auto-locking rear differential and a 3.42 rear axle ratio. The truck has a 7,000 lb GVWR and a high-capacity suspension package. Inside, the cabin has Jet Black cloth seating with a 40/20/40 split front bench. The driver's seat has 10-way power adjustment with lumbar support, and the front passenger seat has 4-way manual adjustment. Both front outboard seats are heated, and the wrapped steering wheel is heated too. The rear seat is a 60/40 folding bench with seatback storage and a fold-out armrest with two cupholders. Color-keyed carpeting with front and rear floor mats is included. Comfort and convenience features include dual-zone automatic climate control with rear air vents, keyless open and start with push-button start, and a remote starter. It also has power windows with express functions, a rear window defogger, and a manual tilt and telescoping steering column. For power, there is a 120-volt interior outlet, two charge/data USB ports, and two USB-C charge-only rear ports. Technology centers on a 13.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Google built-in apps, including navigation and voice assistance. The system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and offers a Wi-Fi hotspot. The driver has a 12.3-inch reconfigurable digital gauge display. Audio comes from a six-speaker system with SiriusXM 360L, and the truck is capable of OnStar and GMC Connected services. Safety features come from the GMC Pro Safety suite. That includes forward collision preparation with front pedestrian detection and braking, lane keep assist with lane departure warning, brake assist, a following distance indicator, and Buckle to Drive. It also has an HD rear vision camera. Airbags include dual-stage front airbags, front seat-mounted side airbags, and head-curtain airbags for the front and rear outboard seats. StabiliTrak has proactive roll avoidance, traction control, and hill start assist. The brakes are four-wheel discs with ABS and Duralife rotors, and steering is electric rack-and-pinion. Outside, the Elevation wears a body-color header with gloss black mesh grille bars, body-color bumpers and door handles, deep-tinted glass, and LED fog lamps. It also has front frame-mounted black recovery hooks and LED signature taillamps with fade-on/fade-off animation. The bed has a spray-on bedliner, LED cargo lighting, 12 fixed tie-downs, top bed rail and tailgate caps, and a CornerStep rear bumper. The tailgate has EZ Lift with power lock and release and a hitch area light. It rides on 20-inch six-spoke high-gloss black painted aluminum wheels with 275/60R20 all-season tires, plus a full-size 17-inch steel spare. The frame has a fully boxed hydroformed front section.
